Cristiano Ronaldo will sport the number ‘9’ shirt formerly worn by players of the likes of Alfredo di Stefano, Santillana and Hugo Sanchez. The last Madridista to don the number was Saviola, who was recently transferred.

As soon as Cristiano Ronaldo walked out of the dressing room tunnel and into the spotlight, one of the most asked questions was immediately answered. Ronaldo sale set for completion

Cristiano Ronaldo's departure is all but done and dusted after Real Madrid and Manchester United finalised the agreement for his transfer on Friday evening.

The Portuguese winger was the subject of a world record £80million offer from the Spanish club on Thursday 11 June. He has since been on holiday but a return to work with new employers now beckons, with the sale set to be completed on Wednesday 1 July.

United have made no further comment, other than to confirm the finalisation.

Manchester United is coming to Malaysia !!

Manchester United’s CEO, David Gill has confirmed that the recently crowned Club World Cup 2008 champion will be coming to Malaysia as part of their pre-season Asia Tour.

Malaysia will be the last stop in the tour and they will play a Malaysian selection team on the 26 July 2009. The match will be played at either Stadium Nasional Bukit Jalil or Stadium Shah Alam.

This will be their fifth tour of Asia and for the first time will include Indonesia. Their first stop would be China. The date for the China match has yet to be confirmed. Then, to Seoul, South Korea on 20 July.

On 24 July, they will be playing at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia. Lastly, it would their final stopover for the tour with a game in Malaysia on 26 July.

Manchester United’s first Asia Tour was in 1999 when they visited Hong Kong, Shanghai, Melbourne and Sydney. The second came in 2001 with a stopover at Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Bangkok.

Their third Asia Tour covered Hong Kong, Beijing and Tokyo in 2005 while their last tour, in 2007, was played in Tokyo, Seoul, Macau and Guangzhou.

Cristiano Ronaldo wrecks Ferrari 599

Cristiano Ronaldo was involved in an accident this morning after crashing his Ferrari 599 GTB into the side barrier of a tunnel badly damaging the sports car, but escaping safely without a scratch. he was on his way to training with the Manchester United team when the accident happens.

the Manchester United star player crashed his Ferrari in a tunnel on the A538 Wilmslow Road near Manchester airport, where Ronaldo lost control of his 599 at 10.20am. an eyewitness said that she saw Ronaldo speeding away and driving into the tunnel before lost control. his team member, goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar, was following behind in his Bentley but was not involved in the accident.

losing the car is a shame. but hey, he still have his BMW, several Porsches, a Rolls Royce Phantom with a personalised CR7 number plate that cost around £150,000. since joining Manchester United, he had reportedly spent £2 million pounds on fast car.

my advice to him: drive carefully. or just let me drive you around. ::haha:: :p

aut viam inveniam aut faciam

Aut viam inveniam aut faciam is a Latin motto that if were directly translated would mean, ‘I will either find a way or make one’. Generally, the motto is expressing that if there’s a will, there’s always a way. I’ve been holding to this motto for a long time. Coincidently, it’s also my school’s motto.

Why I hold on to such motto? Well, I believe, will is a very strong word. When you have a will, if Allah allows it, nothing could stand on your way. When doing something, will is very important. If you need to study for your exam but you hesitate, you will find many ways to not study. But if you have the will for it, nothing could distract you from doing it. Even if you came from a poor family and couldn’t afford to buy books, with the will you have, you wouldn’t mind going to the library to borrow some books for you studies.

Someone who is handicapped could do the same thing that the normal people do. If they don’t have any hands, the paint with their legs. If they don’t have any legs, they walk using their wheelchairs. If they don’t have any eyes, they see with their hearts. They play sports, they become people’s friend, they do craftwork, they do basically whatever we’re doing. And what do you think helps them overcome their weaknesses? It’s their will. Their will to be normal, to do things they’ve always wanted to do. And what we should have is the will to help them.

When you have the will, there’s also no room for giving up. People who are really willing and determined in doing something would never give up. They will find all the possible ways so that they can succeed in what they’re doing. Cause if there’s a will, there’s always a way. And when they have tried they’re very best, the outcome doesn’t matter anymore. Cause if they succeed, congratulations! But if they don’t, they’ll always try again.

By holding on to this motto, I have done much in improving myself. I like to do charity works, cause I like to put a smile on someone’s faces. There’s one time, I joined an event organized by my university. It’s a homestay program where we live with the villagers and help them with their daily chores that was held during the past Ramadan. I’m a city kid who’s very close to my family. I couldn’t stand being far apart from my family for so long. But for this event, I had to come back early, and can’t go home for more than a month (which is a long time for me as I usually go home every two weeks or so). But with the will I have to join this event, I put all of these aside. And it went well. I really enjoyed the event and never regret my decision.

Remember that I’ve told you about how bad I wanted the DVD that I’ve been looking for so long? I’ve been trying to buy it since a few years ago but I’ve never found it in the DVD stores. But my will to have the DVD is so strong, I didn’t given up looking for it till know. And hey, I’m only a few steps away from obtaining it. I took the barcode from a local DVD store website and gave it to the store’s worker. And he’ll order it for me. Yeay! I just don’t know why I haven’t thought of it before this. Huh!

Then again, aut viam inveniam aut faciam. If there’s a will, there’s always a way. Till then. Tata!

it's the end for Portugal in Euro 08. I've stayed up late for this match and was devastated with Portugal's loss. during the 90 minutes game, Luiz Felipe Scolari's team enjoyed a greater possession (61%) and had more shots on Jens Lehmann's goal but was unable to win the game for good.

Germany had chosen to leave Miroslav Klose up front on his own with support coming out wide from his FC Bayern München team-mates Lukas Podolski and Bastian Schweinsteiger. this approach bore fruit when, just two minutes after João Moutinho had missed a chance to put Portugal ahead, Podolski combined with Philipp Lahm and Michael Ballack before crossing for Schweinsteiger (22'), who had drifted in from his position on the right, to sweep the ball past Ricardo.

just four minutes later, Germany were cruising when the Portugal defence left Klose (26') totally unmarked to head in a Schweinsteiger free-kick. they were now two goals to the good from their first two efforts on target. Portugal could not keep still and scored a relief goal through Nuno Gomes (40').

this continued in the second half when Germany retreated to protect their advantage and reduce the amount of space in which wingers Cristiano Ronaldo and Simão could operate. yet Germany caught Portugal out again from a free-kick when Ballack (61') headed in at the far post from another Schweinsteiger delivery. Germany is now leading 3-1.

by full time, Portugal had enjoyed eight and a half more minutes in possession (33'28" to 25'08") and had double the amount of shots (22 to eleven), statistics attributable to both Germany's defending in numbers and Portugal's inability to penetrate. yet just six of these were on target including Hélder Postiga's (87') late headed goal. Raul Meireles and Ronaldo on the other hand were both wayward with their shooting, each sending three efforts wide or over. Scolari's final match as Portugal coach before taking over at Chelsea FC thus ended in defeat as his team's hard work and endeavour in other areas was undermined 2-3 by Germany's great attack.
